Petit Vour is one of my favorite non-toxic, cruelty + vegan ethically made beauty products monthly subscription box. Petit Vour caters their boxes to beauty devotees interested in living a more compassionate lifestyle. They deliver 4 personalized beauty products in samples, usually deluxe and sometimes (most of the time) include a full sized product. This is a great way to try to figure out if you like the products before you splurge for the full sized or if you’re trying to change to non-toxic beauty products. The monthly box only costs $15 a month, unless you live in Texas, then you pay taxes (poor us-still worth it).
This is a gorgeous color lip gloss called “Violet Rose.” It’s a violet mauve with pink and lavender shimmer, but I think it probably looks different on everyone. I’m more of a lipstick or lip whip type of gal, but I really like this lip gloss because of the shade and it’s not sticky. When I first put it on there is a scent, not quite sure how to describe-kind of floral, but then it goes away. The lip gloss is a collaboration between Modern Minerals and Lotus Wei. They created a special lip gloss infusion of pink camellia flowers and pink tourmaline gemstone. The gloss infusion is a special MOODS collection, an emotive formula that helps to magnify Love of Life, Inner strength, Compassion and Living in the Present Moment. Hmm…sounds good to me. The lip gloss comes in four different shades: Violet Rose (I received this one); Coral Glow; B of Love (Pink); and Love of Attraction (Clear). I really want to try them all, especially the B of Love, which is from an appreciation for the poem by E.E. Cummings, “Be of Love.” I digress-moving on.
One Love Organics Healthy Locks Dry Shampoo Powder Value $12/Full-sixe $29
I’m already a big fan of One Love Organic products and love to see their products in subscription boxes. The One Love Organics Healthy Locks Dry Shampoo Powder works great if you like using dry shampoos. The powder is white, but not clumpy and doesn’t turn my roots white. The powder also smells good too. It is a unique blend of Georgia Kaolin Clay, hyularonic acid, and silica rich bamboo extract. A little sprinkle of powder goes a long way to help lift and nourish hair between shampoos. To use just sprinkle a tiny amount onto your hands or apply directly to scalp, let it sit for three minutes, massage into scalp, and brush through. This size is great for travel too.
Pelle Beauty Luxe Beauty Balm $9 value/Full-size $65
This is described as a super-emolient and easily absorbed beauty balm that keeps skin soft, smooth, and protected. The balm is free from water, preservatives, dyes, fillers & synthetic fragrances. It’s formulated with floral waxes, essential oils and antioxidant ingredients. This can be used any time you need it and a little goes a long way. Apply to face & neck after cleansing and using your beauty mist to seal in moisture. It can also be applied as a spot treatment onto drier areas of the face that require more protection. I really like balms and Pelle Beauty Luxe Beauty Balm is lovely.
Organic Bath Co Stress Less Organic Body Oil $2.25 value/Full-size $45
This is the first time I’ve received anything from the Organic Bath Co. in a subscription box and I was excited to try it. The sample oil is lightly scented and absorbs quickly. Body oil is a must for me during these cold days and I really like that this oil is light weight (not greasy) and doesn’t have an overpowering scent. The oil is scented with pure Bulgarian Lavender and a blend of calming essential oils. It is hand crafted in small batches and gluten and vegan free.
The November Petit Vour did not disappoint, as usual. I can’t say enough about the curation of Petit Vour boxes. I also love that I can earn points to buy products in their shop with product reviews and every time you shop their cruelty free shop they give 20% back in store credit. If you’re going to try a non-toxic, vegan subscription box I would highly recommend Petit Vour. Just click here for more information.
